Article 12: AI Summary Tab
Introducing AI-generated summaries that can replace default summaries, which often rely on simply extracting the initial sentences from the body text. Also, in this release we have reorganized key elements. The page title, once situated in the header, and the summary field are now integrated into a dedicated "summary" tab for enhanced accessibility and clarity.
Step 1: Begin by creating a new story or navigate to an existing story. (Ensure stories has body text)
As indicated in the screenshot, the page title has been relocated from the header to the "summary" tab. Additionally, the summary field, which was previously positioned on the right rail, has now been moved to the "summary" tab as well.
Step 2: Navigate to the summary tab.
The default summary function extracts the first line of the story body. However, with the introduction of AI-generated summaries, you can now use AI to create a new, more dynamic summary.
Step 3: Click on "Suggest Summary"
Step 4: Review the suggested summary or select on the icon to generate a new suggestion.
Step 5: Select "apply" to use the suggested summary.
Step 6: Observe as the AI-generated summary replaced the previous summary. (Note: The summary can be customized after selection.)
